Building Industry Consulting Services International

Based in Tampa Florida, BICSI is a professional association supporting the information transport systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies. BICSI serves more than 24,000 ITS professionals, including designers, installers and technicians. These individuals provide the fundamental infrastructure for telecommunications, audio/video, life safety and automation systems.

Through courses, conferences, publications and professional registration programs, BICSI staff and volunteers assist ITS professionals in delivering critical products and services, and offer opportunities for continual improvement and enhanced professional stature. DELL-COMM follows BICSI standards when designing commercial, industrial and residential buildings as well as outside plant distribution systems.

RCDD

Registered Communications Distribution Designer

DELL-COMM recognizes the importance of doing a job professionally and doing it to industry-standards. That is why DELL-COMM has five (5) RCDD's on staff, more than any other Minnesota or North Dakota based low-voltage cabling contractor.

An RCDD is a BICSI "Registered Communications Distribution Designer" who has attained a status of excellence in the field. The RCDD designation is analogous in the telecommunications to a PE (Professional Engineer) in the engineering profession or a CPA in the accounting profession. RCDD is a highly respected, industry-recognized professional designation in the marketplace.
